Christmas Lights Switch on St Helens!

Sparkling free event to switch on St Helens Christmas lights, starting at 4pm, Victoria Square is the place to be to catch performances from X Factor duo Same Difference + cast members from the town’s two pantos. Join in the festive atmosphere with different choirs performing traditional carols & festive music. Youngsters will have their own free Christmas party at the Chicago Rock Café at 2pm.

Special Christmas Sealion Show!

Three well-known Merseyside entertainers have moved into their brand new £600,000 home in Knowsley, complete with swimming pool. The exciting new complex has been custom built for Max, Biffo and Arthur, the stars of Knowsley Safari Park’s ever-popular sealion show. The new facility includes a much larger pool, rocks, beaches and waterfall effects as well as an underwater viewing area which will enable visitors to watch the sealions’ antics throughout the day, and not just at show times. Join in the fun and watch the special sealion show every weekend until 13th December, then everyday until 23rd Dec. Festive fun for all the family! The park opens from 10.30am and show times are 12pm/2pm and 4pm.
